The Marana Foundation's mini-grant program awards mini-grants on an annual basis to teaching staff within the Marana Unified School District for innovative and enriching programs or projects designed to enhance the curriculum for students. The Foundation believes that the best ideas for creating an exciting educational environment for children comes from those educators that work directly with students. 

The community can observe the results of mini-grants throughout the Marana district in a variety of reading, math, science, fine arts, and preschool enhancement programs.

To date, the Foundation has donated over $100,000 to fund educational programs and projects within the Marana district. In 2008, teachers were granted over $10,000.00.
